Back to About Marilyn I believe in Jesus, the Christ, God’s only begotten Son. I believe in His pre-existence, His incarnation, His Virgin Birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary sacrifice for sinners, His bodily resurrection from the grave, and His future return from Heaven. I believe salvation is only by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ and his shed blood on the cross, apart from human merit, works, or ceremonies. I believe that although salvation from sin cannot be earned or attained, the fruit of faith in Jesus Christ is good works. I believe in the unity and trinity of the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe the Bible, both the Old Testament and The New Testament, is the inspired inerrant Word of God. God’s Holy Word is the final and sole authority for Christian living. I believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit who convicts, indwells, baptizes, sanctifies, enlightens, empowers, and instructs Christians to Godly living and regeneration. I believe the church is a spiritual body of which Christ is the head, both eternally and functionally. I believe in the resurrection of the human body, the eternal existence of all men—either in heaven or hell—and in divine judgments and rewards. |
