Marilyn Williams is a testament to God’s love, power, and promises…a living example of being healed and transformed from the inside out. She has overcome the scars of childhood sexual, physical, and emotional abuse; the repercussions of a longterm eating disorder; a mental breakdown at the age of 24; and a past diagnosis of Multiple Personality Disorder. How does one not only survive but triumph over such tragic circumstances? It is only through Christ and the power of His Living Word. Those who hear her profound and victorious story are uplifted and captivated by her message. Most importantly, her audiences are inspired to pursue a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

At her side throughout her journey has been her husband, Mike. They reside in Oceanside, California where they have raised their two children over the past twenty years. Responding to God’s call on their life together, Mike and Marilyn have founded and continue to direct (link to SHM page) Safe Harbor Ministries, an outreach ministry delivering the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus Christ to people in need through various services and outreaches. Together they have devoted themselves to fulltime ministry, seeking to serve and honor God by blessing others.

Marilyn’s passion for God’s Word has led to the writing of several Bible studies and devotional books: She Did What She Could, Out of Our Pain and Into God’s Promises, and Advent Devotions…Change the Way Your Family Does Christmas.

Marilyn has also established small group ministries such as: ‘You Go, Girl!’ time management and accountability groups, where women are lovingly supported and practically equipped to get done what God is calling them to do; and S.H.O.P.s (Sharing Hearts of Prayer), where women pray God’s Word for their husbands, families, communities, nation, and world.

Marilyn enjoys leadership of small group Bible studies, one-on-one mentoring, and speaking at conferences, retreats, and special events around the world. In fact, Marilyn has had the privilege of speaking, teaching, and ministering to women of Armenia, Ivory Coast Africa, Japan, Korea and even the underground church in Iran. Training and Experience
Marilyn has been speaking actively since 2000. Much of her personal time is spent in the study of God’s Word, preparing biblical and inspiring messages, effectively communicating pearls of wisdom through written Bible studies, devotionals and audio messages.

Marilyn has been personally mentored by Pam Farrel, renowned author, speaker and co-founder/co-director of Masterful Living and Farrel Communications and is trained and certified by CLASS (Christian Leader, Author and Speaker Services). She enjoys her position as Women's Ministry Director at Emmanuel Faith Community Church in Escondido, California as well as being assistant to the Southwest Area Director for Wycliffe Associates.

Marilyn is also pursuing a BA degree in Religion and Leadership at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California. In addition to Marilyn’s international and itinerate Ministry of the Word, Marilyn also speaks with You Can Ministries – encouraging and equipping women to find contentment through Christ in all things (Phil. 4:13).

Personal
Just for fun, Marilyn loves shopping with girlfriends, dark chocolate, Diet Coke, family parties, spoiling her first grandson, and taking her German Shepherd and Standard Poodle for long walks with her husband.
