What's New With Marilyn
July 2010: Marilyn and her husband, Mike just returned from another amazing ministry trip...this time to the South Pacific. Says Marilyn, "As I I had the privilege to connect and minister to our sisters in the South Pacific, whether they were American missionary women, Solomon Islanders or Figian, I was reminded of the beauty of God's women serving others for the glory of God. Whether they were women living in villages cooking over fires or women serving in missionary training centers, God's women are beautiful! They reflect the servant hands and feet of our Lord Jesus and they inspire me to do the same. Next time you see a woman serving someone else, encourage her by affirming her Christ-like spirit."
Her other recent ministry tour to our sisters of the underground church in Iran was a powerful and life-changing experience and she is developing a prayer ministry for our sisters in the Arab nations. Please download the flyer and partner with us to pray for "God's Kingdom Come" in the Middle East. Jesus is on the move in the
Middle East; he invites us to be a part of
building up his kingdom to the ends of the earth. Pass onto others who can join us in this prayer movement for our persecuted brothers and sisters.
What a joy it is to be a part of God’s great and transforming work.
San Diego County's Christian newspaper, GOOD NEWS, ETC. ran a feature article on Marilyn's ministry to women in the Middle East in their March 2009 edition. It reads:

The harassment that Williams and her oppressed sisters in Christ in the Middle East endured during the recent conference where she spoke wasn¹t so foreign to Williams. Growing up, she also was treated like a sex object. For Williams it was at the hands of an abusive and controlling father.

God is on the move in Iran!
“As my plane took off into the horizon, the reality of ministering to our dear Sisters from the underground church in Iran gripped me with last minute jitters. Considering the absurdity of an American woman traveling alone to the Middle East in our current times, I sensed God reassuring my heart, “It’s just you and Me, kid.“ My stomach tightened as I flew farther away from what I knew was my home country, but eager for all God had planned to do in this distant land.
As our conference began, I was honored to be a small part of God’s good work in the hearts of our oppressed and persecuted sisters in Iran. But I have to admit, our surrounding circumstances were difficult, challenging, and eye opening for me... "
