Marilyn Williams loves anything and everything to do with God’s Word! She loves to read it, study it, teach it, process it and live by it! Marilyn is a transparent speaker, delivering biblical application for everyday living. One cannot help but be eternally and positively affected by her warm heart, sharp mind and clear communication skills on a variety of topics. An internationally known speaker, Marilyn desires all to know the truth that has set her heart free.

Her own story of hope, healing and transformation is nothing short of miraculous. A victim of horrific childhood sexual and emotional abuse, Marilyn suffered a complete mental breakdown at age 24 and was diagnosed with Multiple Personality Disorder. Her journey of healing and transformation will have a profound impact on all who hear her message and in fact, it was recently shared with CBN's 700 Club.

See Marilyn's riveting testimony on The 700 Club Friday, March 5, 2010.

Marilyn extends her thanks to The 700 Club for their careful and heartfelt presentation of this very difficult and personal story. It is her sincere prayer that it will inspire hope, faith and change through God's truth and life-changing love.

“As I travel around the world, I find that women, no matter what culture, are typically exploited, abused, neglected. At the very least, they don’t know their value. I had to spend a lot of time in the Word and in worship and in prayer. He has the power to heal you, no matter what you’ve been through. The Spirit of the Lord is our only hope for healing. It’s our only hope for sanity. It’s our only hope for a future outside of all this brokenness.”

What's New With Marilyn

July 2010: Marilyn and her husband, Mike just returned from another amazing ministry trip...this time to the South Pacific. Says Marilyn, "As I I had the privilege to connect and minister to our sisters in the South Pacific, whether they were American missionary women, Solomon Islanders or Figian, I was reminded of the beauty of God's women serving others for the glory of God. Whether they were women living in villages cooking over fires or women serving in missionary training centers, God's women are beautiful! They reflect the servant hands and feet of our Lord Jesus and they inspire me to do the same. Next time you see a woman serving someone else, encourage her by affirming her Christ-like spirit."

Her other recent ministry tour to our sisters of the underground church in Iran was a powerful and life-changing experience and she is developing a prayer ministry for our sisters in the Arab nations. Please download the flyer and partner with us to pray for "God's Kingdom Come" in the Middle East. Jesus is on the move in the Middle East; he invites us to be a part of building up his kingdom to the ends of the earth. Pass onto others who can join us in this prayer movement for our persecuted brothers and sisters. What a joy it is to be a part of God’s great and transforming work.

San Diego County's Christian newspaper, GOOD NEWS, ETC. ran a feature article on Marilyn's ministry to women in the Middle East in their March 2009 edition. It reads:

Emotional Healing Delivered to Women in Middle East
By JUDY ERICKSON

The average American Christian woman might have been terrified and repulsed — and refuse to go back — but Marilyn Williams, the women¹s pastor at Emmanuel Faith Community Church wants to return to minister to women of the underground churches of Muslim nations.

The harassment that Williams and her oppressed sisters in Christ in the Middle East endured during the recent conference where she spoke wasn¹t so foreign to Williams. Growing up, she also was treated like a sex object. For Williams it was at the hands of an abusive and controlling father. Read full article here

And now, take a few minutes to read Marilyn's ministry update below. Be prepared...it is gripping.

God is on the move in Iran!
“As my plane took off into the horizon, the reality of ministering to our dear Sisters from the underground church in Iran gripped me with last minute jitters. Considering the absurdity of an American woman traveling alone to the Middle East in our current times, I sensed God reassuring my heart, “It’s just you and Me, kid.“ My stomach tightened as I flew farther away from what I knew was my home country, but eager for all God had planned to do in this distant land.

As our conference began, I was honored to be a small part of God’s good work in the hearts of our oppressed and persecuted sisters in Iran. But I have to admit, our surrounding circumstances were difficult, challenging, and eye opening for me... "
